Welcome to Run the Rough! A series of night-time trail runs hosted at Westlake Golf Course. Don your running shoes and your headlamp for a fun 5km around the beautiful grounds. With a fun handicap system, anyone can win the first place prize!

About the event
Get out there for an evening run in the rough. Open to all ages and fitness levels this run allows you to enjoy a safe run - in the dark - around some of the most beautiful golf course grounds in the Cape. The route is clearly marked, and this is the only time you'll hear us say No Greens Allowed! For a bit of extra fun smash your handicap using our unique handicap system that levels the running field.
Your entry includes a delicious burger and full bar facilities will be available for you to enjoy post the run.
