Welcome to Run the Rough, a night-time trail runs hosted at Westlake Golf Club. Expect a super-fun loop (or two!) around the course, with a delish burger included in your entry. Our fun handicap system means anyone can win the first place prize. Don't forget your headlamp!

About the event
Look forward to smooth fairways and a bit of rough as you loop the golf course on our revamped route. This is the only time you'll hear us say No Greens Allowed!
Open to all ages and fitness levels this run allows you to enjoy a safe run - in the dark - around some of the most beautiful golf course grounds in the Cape. The route has been simplified for easy navigation, is marshalled and clearly marked. For a bit of extra fun smash your handicap using our unique handicap system that levels the running field.
Your entry includes a delicious burger, and full bar facilities will be available for you to enjoy post the run. Bring the family (walkers are welcome) or let them enjoy a bite at the Restaurant while you run.
!! A headlamp is compulsory - please don't forget to bring one.
